Friends of Tibetan Settlements in India (FOTSI) aids Tibetan refugees and projects in resettlement (refugee) areas in India. Health and educational needs are priorities. Currently most work is in the Mundgod (Doeguling), and Bylakuppe Tibetan Settlements in Karnataka State, India. FOTSI is a fully tax-exempt non-profit organization (501(c)(3)) incorporated in the state of Colorado. The project is directed by Chela Kunasz, President, and the FOTSI Board of Directors.
Slideshows on this page are devoted to outdoor adventures, car trips, etc. At the present time, we include slide shows of 1) climbing the Blitzen Ridge of Mt. Ypsilon -- a day of mountaineering in Rocky Mountain National Park, 2,3) a two-part presentation of our September 2001 car trip to Laguna Beach, CA, with photos from Capitol Reef, Zion, and Joshua Tree National Parks, and Utah's Coral Pink Sand Dunes Recreation Area, 4) photos taken at Tahquitz Rock near Idyllwild, California, and 5) photos taken during a climb of Taylor Glacier.
